This wooded park surrounds the North Fork Maquoketa River and is located just 5 miles north of Dyersville off Highway 136 and 7 miles from the Field of Dreams. The two-mile hiking trail leads through the heavily forested portion of the park which was once decimated by a tornado but has rebounded providing habitat for many types of wildlife from deer, and turkey to elusive long-eared owls.
