Marketing Assistant

Assists in directing various aspects of the Marketing functions of the bank.

Essential Functions

  1. Assist the marketing department and marketing team.
  2. Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures and press releases.
  3. Assist with the collation of information for promotional material.
  4. Help organize events, exhibitions and seminars, making bookings and overseeing the guest list
  5. Upload material to the website(s), social media pages, online libraries and marketing department databases.
  6. Help design and place advertisements.
  7. Assist with evaluating marketing campaigns using tracking and analytical software and assess the results.
  8. Help with presentations by assembling videos, slideshows and analyses.
  9. Encourage and work with other departments in the organization to take part in promotional activity.
  10. Participates in civic and community activities to generate visibility for the bank.
  11. Openly communicates to all departments within the bank to determine efficiencies and improvements.
  12. Responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  13. Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Some travel may be required on a limited basis.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Prior banking experience or marketing experience.
