About APC: Advanced Precast Company (APC) is a precast concrete manufacturing facility located in Dyersville, Iowa. APC produces various concrete wall panels for architectural and structural facilities located throughout the Midwest.

Job Summary: Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment to assist in delivering concrete from APC’s Batch Plant to APC’s Factory. Ready-Mix Drivers are responsible for operating ready-mix trucks and dump trucks to various locations as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate ready-mix trucks and other equipment according to federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Complete all pre- and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations.
  • Document and perform routine checks and inspections mandatory for DOT requirements.
  • Communicate with maintenance and fleet coordinator regarding equipment conditions and maintenance needs.
  • Safely and efficiently maneuver ready-mix trucks at specified locations for loading and unloading materials.
  • Complete all forms, tickets, and required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Perform annual services and inspections to ready-mix trucks and other equipment.
  • Have flexibility of hauling variations of materials to multiple locations, both in-state and out-of-state.
  • Maintain a clean interior and exterior of ready-mix trucks and other equipment.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement with current medical certificate required.
  • Ability to pass annual DOT inspection requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
